Magical Dj Set – Willie Graff @ Cielo – Dancetrippin.tv

Willie Graff was born to American parents on the island of Ibiza, the nerve center of electronic music. He started developing a taste for music at a very early age because of his father, a music lover and music programmer for a radio station during the heyday of Ibiza in the 80s. Willie was fortunate to experience the white islands magic at the tender age of 13, when he began frequenting local nightclubs and listening to house music. Willie got his first DJ residency at a beach club playing all styles of music at the age of 14. After only one year, he was spinning in many of the popular bars on the island as well as on Ibizas most popular radio station, Cadena 100.

Epic DC10 Closing w Ricardo Villalobos, Rhadoo, Pedro, Raresh

DanceTrippin 147: Villalobos & Arpiar @ Circoloco DC10 Ibiza from DanceTrippin.tv on Vimeo.

DC10 – Opening the season with …

This Italian-inspired production is proof that rave culture thrives in oppressive environments. DC10 was the iconic club of the 00s and Circo Loco the principal driving force behind it.

The legendary Monday morning session soon grew from a small band of hardcore ravers to being the most talked about party in Ibiza and possibly the whole world of electronic music in the last 10 years. The careers of Tania Vulcano, Loco Dice and Luciano are indebted to the success of the parties, whilst the crazy clown has become possibly the most well-known clubbing symbol of recent times.

After a serious of enforeced closures and legal issues, which left the club closed for much of 2008 and all of 2009, 2010 saw the New Era’s arrival, heralding a change of emphasis in creating the next generation of Monday afternoon heroes and memories.
